Spring Break is a time where people have fun and not have to think about coming to work the next day. The possibilities of having a good time are endless because there are so many things to do in the world. Here are 5 ways to
1. Make Plans
If your spring break consists of sleeping in and staying home, then you’re doing spring break the wrong way. You have a whole week for fun and entertainment! Go out there and make plans. Whether you decide to go out with your friends, family, or partner, anything will make it a good experience. There are so many places to go out here. A nice sunny day at the beach sounds really nice, doesn’t it? Kickoff your 2019 spring break by making plans to go out for the week. It doesn’t have to be every day, but at least 3-4 days out of the week. See you outside having a blast!
2. Go On A Mini-Vacation
Who doesn’t love going on a vacation? Well, I wouldn’t know because I have never been on vacation. Embarrassing! I know right. If you’ve made plans earlier before to travel, you’re already on the right track for an amazing 2019 spring break. Think of all of the places that you would like to go to this year. Pick one that you think is reasonable and go out and do it. It’s always good to treat yourself out to have fun every once in a while. Spring break is a good time to unwind and not think about things. Take this time out to enjoy your vacation and have fun. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and enjoy your trip.
3. Make Goals For Summer
This is an important one because I feel like everyone procrastinates on this one. I always see people making goals for the summer, in SUMMER! Like why wait until then to make goals for yourself. You will never accomplish any of those goals if you don’t take time to prepare for them. One clear example of this is the goal that people have of “getting that summer body”.
Every year, people have the goal of getting into shape and going to the gym. That goal sounds amazing, but you only act on it for two weeks. Probably even less if you want to be honest with yourself. Take time this 2019 spring break to make a workout plan and stick to it. Don’t eat enough food that can last you for three years because you don’t need it. So, take time and make specific and smart goals for the summer. I promise that your mental health will improve because you won’t feel disappointed if things don’t work out the way that you want it.
4. Enjoy Yourself
I know that I mentioned earlier that your spring break wouldn’t start off right if you spent all of your time sleeping and staying in the house. Well, that isn’t necessarily true. It’s important to enjoy yourself because you are with yourself 100% of the time. If you don’t enjoy being alone and by yourself, then it will be hard for others to enjoy being around you as well. It doesn’t matter what you do, just find something that you enjoy doing and do it. Your spring break is all about having the best time for you, not anyone else. 5. Recharge Your Batteries
If you’re like me, you’re preparing for the upcoming week when spring break is over. There’s not much time for a day off. You’re constantly going and never stop moving until the point of burnout. That is a bad thing to do. Take a step back and relax for spring break. I believe the best plan for spring break of 2019 is to enjoy yourself, have fun, and prepare for the next week. You never want to be surprised and have all of this work to do on Sunday night. That is never fun for anyone to do. Take time to take care of business and prioritize your week. Rest up and prepare for the rest of the week.
